PRISONER OF TIME 1 © 2007

I have lived through different cycles,

Of seven years, each one marked,

I hope there is time for one more,

So that the soul does not depart

With an empty belly, in fasting!

In each cycle, I have learned and grown,

Transformed, left parts of myself behind,

But also kept the best I gathered,

Hoping that life grants me one more end.

May this new cycle bring fulfilment,

Feed the spirit with new certainties,

That the soul be satisfied with lived experiences,

And not depart with the hunger of one who yielded to uncertainties.

May the next cycle be filled,

With discoveries, love, and faith,

So that, when the time of departure comes,

I can leave in peace, fulfilled and standing.
