I am the poet, and my preferred food

Are words,

Each verse is a piece of life,

Each rhyme, a flavour that invades me.

Therefore, do not spoil my deep appetite,

Let me satisfy myself at the source of creation,

Where words spring forth like clear water,

And nourish the soul, give meaning to existence.

I am the poet, and in the dance of letters,

I find the essence of what I am,

Do not try to impose another path,

For it is in writing that I truly live.

Each word I choose, each line I draw,

Is a feast that nourishes me, that fills me,

And in the depth of this insatiable appetite,

I find the sustenance to continue, to be.

I present myself to the world, without fears,

For I know that it is in poetry that I find

The true satisfaction, the fullness,

And there is no other food that can

Satisfy the hunger I carry in my chest.
