PRISONER OF TIME 1 © 2007

To be yourself is too little,

Just as I, who divide myself,

Into scattered fragments,

Trying to find meaning in the whole.

We are more than parts,

More than the sum of what we seem to be,

But sometimes, we limit ourselves

To being just a fraction of what we can.

I unfold into a thousand versions,

Seeking in the shadows what eludes me,

Yet still, I feel something missing,

A piece, a touch, a spark.

To be yourself is too little,

Just as I, who divide myself,

We need to be whole,

To finally find each other.

So, let us be more

Than what we define ourselves to be,

Let us not be limited by the edges,

But explore the infinite that resides within us.
