Will I be too audacious
Or mad with stubbornness?
Perhaps I am a bit of both,
A spirit that is never content,
Always seeking the beyond,
Even if the path is winding.
Audacity drives me to confront
What many avoid or fear,
While stubbornness keeps me steady,
Even when the world opposes me.
Some may call it madness,
And perhaps there is truth in that view,
For those who insist on challenging
The limits of the possible,
End up losing themselves at the edges of reason.
But if this is the madness that guides me,
Then I accept it gladly,
For it is in this madness that I find the courage
To be more than expected,
To live beyond what is given to me.
Will I be too audacious,
Or mad with stubbornness?
Perhaps, in the end, it doesn’t matter,
As long as I remain true to who I am,
Challenging the world with each step,
Unafraid to be who I truly am.
