PRISONER OF TIME 2 © 2008

A corpse found smiling,

On the face, a silent mystery,

The soul, on its final journey,

Surpassed the pain, the heavy fate.

It ascended, ascending, to the beyond,

Tearing the veil of mortality,

But the fairy, in her realm of good,

Ignored it, indifferent to its longing.

The smile, however, remained,

Marked on the already cold flesh,

As one who, upon departing, understood,

That peace is not found in fantasy.

The ascent of the soul went beyond,

Where matter could no longer reach,

And even without the fairy, it was a captive

Of the fate that, in the end, smiled.
