PRISONER OF TIME 2 © 2008

Children imprisoned at birth,

In the tight womb of their mothers,

Struggle against the fate being woven,

They do not want to live like dogs.

They feel the weight of life bearing down,

Even before seeing the light of day,

They prolong the desire not to arrive,

Fearing a world without harmony.

The womb is a refuge, but also a cell,

Where innocence is held hostage by fear,

And upon emerging, in such a beautiful struggle,

They reject a future marked by fate.

They do not want to live without dignity,

Nor accept invisible chains,

They seek in life true freedom,

Where their dreams can be possible.
