GREAT SOUL IN MY COUNTRY 2 © 2008

I am more than men, i am the uncovered face,

Shouting as an offering, I challenge, open a crater,

I am the uncertain voice, that softly moans,

The wound of humanity laid bare, unafraid of being seen.

I am the dissected corpse, who dared, out of time,

Not to remain silent, even in adverse wind, in the wrong moment,

I am the tireless gaze, at the edge of madness,

Serene, friendly, and affable, seeking the pure truth.

I am the untamed dance, that surrenders on the stage of life,

Unafraid to shed the tear of honey that the heart carries,

And in the whirlwind of days, I am the flame that does not extinguish,

I am more than men, I am the soul that embraces and caresses everything.
