GREAT SOUL IN MY COUNTRY 2 © 2008
This was the path I chose, narrow and winding,
Now I am left to endure the painful weight,
Of the iniquities that fate sends me,
Like a child in earnest, without losing harmony.
It does not matter the height, nor the age one has,
The important thing is to decipher the intentions that the world contains,
To avoid the gaze of orphanhood, so empty, so cold,
That anxiously awaits the affection of a father who has departed.
Oh mother, when will father come to soothe my tears?
One day, my daughter, on a night of silence and enchantment,
He will come, to break through the grave,
What in life he did not have the courage to do.
He will accompany the days, and be present in your growth,
Even if late, his love will finally shine,
Oh! Dear, time may be cruel and tardy,
But the love he carries will always find its river.
