GREAT SOUL IN MY COUNTRY 2 © 2008
It had to be today, i would do everything differently,
From the discontented past, only the glory was enjoyed,
From the reigning youth, that set traps for tomorrow,
So that, amputated, I could not enlist in the next armada.
Tomorrow is different from today, and the day after tomorrow as well,
Always in eternal change, like a cycle with no end,
To live everything in a rejuvenating tone,
To be of the moment, a post-believer, without a chain.
Tomorrow, perhaps I might alter the course of time,
But today all I can do is highlight in the dream,
And waste the memories of everyone,
So that the future of today may be buried tomorrow,
The memories that never managed to gather,
In a single image, reflecting their glories,
And live like gossipers of untold stories,
That in the silence of forgetfulness, become clouded.
