Government, the children need schools,

They cannot scribble hunger and alms on the ground.

Government, the children need shelter,

They cannot live lost, without direction or friend.

Suspended in the gutters, with vacant and absorbed eyes,

They plead for a future, not this dead silence.

They need guidance, light, and knowledge,

Classes where they can read, write, and live.

To play in freedom, unrestrained in their essence,

To grow with the warmth of a patient gaze.

In a tomorrow of men with existence and worth,

Where every child feels the future with love.
