O Christ, i weep for You with deep emotion,
For a humanity sinking on its path.
I pray to You for the innocence of a lost child,
Who never knew the memory, left forgotten.
Buried at birth, without the chance to be childhood,
Without the smiles or dreams that blossom in hope.
The moments of grace, so brief and scattered,
Were only intentions, set adrift in the universe.
Allow, Lord, that this child may be reborn,
That their essence, at last, may manifest and embrace.
That the continuous lines of my hand may draw,
The companionship life denied, and the love that belongs to them.
That in touch, in word, in gesture of care,
May I be the channel that leads them to Your way.
