Indeed, I would never have expected to see emerge,

From the infinite, Christ, for my salvation and joy.

Everything else are echoes, manifestations flowing,

Seeking in the soul a place of harmony.

They seek a serene and secure refuge,

Where the heavy weights of fame can rest.

For in truth, what shines is fleeting and obscure,

But in Christ, eternal peace comes to embrace us.

May He be my rest, my solace,

Where fame dissolves and the spirit finds the moment.

In the divine silence, free from vanity and clamor,

I find, in Christ, my true splendour.
