I believe in the Church of Christ, pure and true,

But the current one is filled with ornaments and misery,

Where hunger and disease turn faith into a chimera,

And the brilliance of the altars no longer illuminates the matter.

On faces, thousands of sufferings are etched,

In agony and supplication, they cry out for the forsaken.

Vatican, strip off the golden robes and go,

Go to the midst of the people who trust in you and fall.

Feed hope with bread, with life,

For the people are weary, lost, and suffering.

Do not limit yourself to proclaiming the word in vain,

Show love and compassion through example.

Cast off the riches that bind you to illusion,

And so, others will follow you in true devotion.

Without a temple of stone, but with an open heart,

It will be in Christ that the people find the right path.
