What must I do, Christ, to see you descend?

Humanity is unraveling, lost in its suffering.

The only hope left is Your remembrance,

The echo of Your love that brings solace to the soul.

In these moments of reflection, the tear dances,

Eternal, sliding down the face, never tiring.

It weeps for all who did not trust in Your covenant,

For those who in suffering did not know how to find You.

Oh Christ, come down as light to guide us,

To restore what was lost in chaos and pain.

Humanity is adrift, with no direction to reach,

But in You resides the promise of a better world.

Teach us to see you, even in the coldest shadow,

And may Your presence be the balm that guides us.

For without you, hope will merely fade away,

And the eternal tear, tireless, will weep even more.
