A CRY FOR FREEDOM © 2008

Do you know why the sea is immense,

And what was the reason for departure?

Perhaps to contain what is dense,

The profound mystery of life.

In History, countless conquests

Were like waves, invading time,

Men, blind, with selfish hands,

Tore the skies in a mournful lament.

They filled the universe with tears,

Sailed far away, not knowing,

That the price of glory, so scattered,

Is the heart of the world losing itself.

And now it will take millennia

To empty the moon's favoured basin,

Which in the waves reflects, shining,

Like an ancient mirror of ethereal dreams.

Tracing the route of navigators,

Who follow afar, seeking the end,

Followed at a distance, in silence, by lovers,

Who await their destiny, so close to them.

Thousands of futures, in latent hearts,

Move in the tides of time, waiting,

For love, like the moonlight on the waters, to try

To reflect, and finally seal their fates.
