A CRY FOR FREEDOM © 2008
This kind of abandonment, so deep,
Is unusual in the human being, who gets lost,
Sailing in seas of a vague world,
Where the soul, at times, is no longer perceived.
After all, I am a disciple of Christ, the truth,
Bearing the weight of humanity and its damage,
Carrying within me the pain and longing,
Of a divine, serene, and sovereign love.
It is in the silence of this burden that I sustain myself,
Like one who knows the path is uncertain,
But who, in faith, finds solace,
Proceeding, even though the end is veiled.
