A CRY FOR FREEDOM © 2008
Do not be ashamed of your condition,
I am the one who feels ashamed for not being able
To extend a hand in a pure gesture of heart,
Capable of, in a single moment, opening the world.
To recognise enough, without hesitation,
To change what is hidden in isolation,
That weight which closes, without reason,
And shields you from the wind and the movement.
To prevent, when the opportunity arises,
It might touch a different scale,
Where serenity finds the truth,
And smiles, for having acted so fully.
