A CRY FOR FREEDOM © 2008
I am the reflection of everything
That life did not desire,
Doctor, graduated with a diploma,
Teaching with chalk on a board.
But, on the other hand,
I am a sort of superstar,
Who never quite knows how to be with life,
Hindering my own ascent, in pain.
Always open, with blood
Flowing and draining from my veins,
In stagnant despair,
Requesting a half-hearted tourniquet.
But nothing happens but the shock,
Announcing to the family of my death,
Friends, who remained in childhood,
Protected from condemnation, in innocence.
I am what life did not want to accept,
A lost soul in a body in ruins,
Searching for meaning, but stumbling,
Discovering that pain dictates the fates.
