A CRY FOR FREEDOM © 2008

Welcome home, my love,

Words I shall never hear again,

I only have a bed to receive the pain,

Between the pillars, I will be undone.

With time passing, subject to it,

In the reinforced foundations of the soul,

The solidity resists the long breath of the wind,

Which sways but does not disrupt the calm.

In the distance, the feeling remains,

Never forgotten, without illusions,

And far from any pretense,

That deceives the fragile hearts.

The mind, in deep thought,

Attempts to decipher the hidden secret,

In the mysteries of the eternal marriage,

Between love and contained silence.
