A CRY FOR FREEDOM © 2008
All I wanted was a sincere love,
That would accept me in its cozy bed,
Where affection was constant and true,
Even when the unexpected appeared.
A love capable of distinguishing,
One from zero, in the touch of an eye,
And that, in the silence of uncertainty,
Would know how to calm me in peace.
That doubt would have no place,
Nor provoke hysteria or pain,
But would be resolved in every embrace,
With the serenity of a tender love.
A love that, even in storms,
Would keep its truth steadfast,
And that in the rhythm of its desires,
Would heal fear with its gentleness.
