A CRY FOR FREEDOM © 2008

What fascinates me most

Is not the idea of being a poet,

But living it in discovery.

It is to know that having infinity as the target

And not wanting to be the arrow,

It is to know that having destiny as the end

And not wanting to be the goal.

To be a poet is to flow without direction,

It is to let the soul wander,

Between mystery and creation,

Where the word, by itself, ignites.

It is to feel that what matters

Is not the point of arrival,

But the essence that is carried

In the journey still unfinished.
