REFLECTIONS © 2011

Before the world, I bare my soul,

No masks, no veils, no defense,

And in the deep silence of calm,

I show my true self, with clarity immense.

Without fear of the judging eyes,

Without dread of the weaknesses I reveal,

For it is in vulnerability that I find myself,

In the naked truth that I unveil.

I am not perfect, nor do I seek to be,

But I am authentic, in every gesture, in every pain.

And as I strip away, I discover the power

Of one who reveals themselves in love's domain.

The body is a temple, the soul is light,

And together, they reflect the truth,

Of one who, before the world, walks bright

On the path of truth, simple yet uncouth.
