What one is not capable of giving,

Has no right to demand in receiving,

For true value lies in sharing,

And not just in wanting.

Love, respect, understanding,

Are gifts that arise from the heart,

And those who wish, without first offering,

Lose the essence of what it truly means to love.

One cannot reap where one has not sown,

Nor expect from others what has not been given.

Giving is the principle, the path to follow,

And only then does receiving make sense to emerge.

The cycle of life is to reciprocate,

A balance between giving and receiving.

Those who understand this know how to find

The true richness in living.
