Poetry is not meant to be
Spoken or discussed,
It is born from silence, from feeling,
From a soul with truth wounded.
It is for those who wish, deeply,
To take it as their own, without hesitation,
And, when reading, to live it in their heart,
As if each verse were the world itself.
The poet's experience is unique,
But, when read, it becomes common,
For those who receive it as their truth
Embrace what is singular, and make it one.
Poetry is not debate or argument,
It is surrender, it is living in thought.
