REFLECTIONS © 2011
I who loved, as one loves only once in a lifetime,
With the intensity of a flame
That will never be reignited again.
Like a bird unable to fly again,
With a broken wing, i wander in the sky of longing,
Lost in the absence of your gaze.
All that remains is the memory,
Of a low flight in the past,
A distant echo of a passion.
That faded in the shadow of history,
And left desolation in my heart.
My sad heart, that once beat for you,
Now beats in silence, in a rhythm of endless longing.
