REFLECTIONS © 2011

I write as if I were Christ,

With the depth of a divine gaze,

I write as if I were a King,

With the weight and dignity of fate.

I write as if I were a beggar,

Feeling the pain and hope from the ground,

I write as if I were the earth

Where men plant their seeds with passion.

I write as if I were the river,

Where men pour their tears and fears,

I write as if I were the longing

That persists beyond time and its veils.

In the end, I write humanity,

As my vast personality,

Reflecting all faces and truths,

In a tapestry of multiple identities.
