REFLECTIONS © 2011

The words I’ve written,

Will only have meaning

If I truly live them,

If each verse is lived.

It’s not just ink on paper,

But action that brings life to what is said,

It’s the steps that follow the words,

And the truth that within them lies.

Every word written is a reflection,

Of a feeling or a desire,

And the real meaning is revealed

When actions follow the intent.

Thus, words become true

When lived with passion and purpose,

And it is in the practice of what is written

That we find true expression.
