Corruption is the defense

Of an inferior society.

It’s a reflection of corrupted values,

Where ethics and justice are subverted,

And inequality is perpetuated

Through vitiated and diverted practices.

Instead of seeking the common good,

Corruption feeds inequality,

And protects selfish interests,

Making injustice a reality.

It’s a sign that society

Has yet to achieve true integrity,

And struggles to rise above corruption,

To create a future of honesty and dignity.
