LETTERS TO DESTINY © 2012
Sometimes, a single phrase is enough to say it all,
One truth that reveals itself, full and clear,
No need for sisters formed in line,
Repeating mental exercises that, at heart, bring fear.
Words, when filled with essence,
Dispense the echo of repetition,
Just a sigh, a sincere verse,
Is enough to touch the depths of the heart's sensation.
Simplicity holds the universe,
And in a phrase, the world can fit,
For it is in the depth of silence
That the truth has more strength to emit.
So let one phrase be sufficient,
Like a beam of light crossing the sea,
And in the few words spoken,
May be found the entirety of what there is to be.
