Lord, You know I do not weep out of loneliness,

For Your presence accompanies me at every step,

Lord, You know I do not yearn for desires,

For in You I have found my rest, my embrace.

Lord, You know my heart and understand,

That there is no space for vanity or illusions,

My tears are full of emotion for feeling You,

For knowing that in You I find my reasons.

Each tear that falls is one of gratitude,

For Your infinite and boundless love,

For it is in Your sacred silence

That my soul feels truly understood.

Lord, my heart overflows with Your touch,

And my tears are proof of Your constant love,

For in feeling You so near,

I am, in You, strong and confident.
