LETTERS TO DESTINY © 2012
To be what I am, and why not?
If it's in truth that the soul blooms,
If what vibrates in my heart
Is the reflection of what uplifts and resumes.
Why fear one's own essence,
If it is there that I find my being?
To be what I am is freedom,
It’s the path I choose to be seeing.
I am not limited by expectations,
Nor by the masks the world imposes,
For being who I am, in fullness,
Is the greatest gift that composes.
Why not, then, be authentic,
Without fear of the observing gaze?
To be what I am is my right,
The truth that in me stays.
To be what I am, and why not?
If it’s in God that I find myself whole,
There’s no reason to hide away,
For in my being, I am true in soul.
