LETTERS TO DESTINY © 2012
For decades I sought,
Not quite knowing what I was looking for,
A deep emptiness filled me,
But the answer remained silent.
I sought the miracle of life,
The purity, the lost goodness,
Trying to understand the meaning
That so often seemed hidden.
With each step, a new riddle,
With each dawn, a new question,
But something in me insisted
That there was more beyond reason.
The true nature of God,
So sublime and unattainable,
Seemed to escape my grasp,
Like a dream, untouchable and invisible.
But along the journey, I realized,
That it wasn’t outside I should look,
For what I sought so much in the world,
Was within me, pulsing.
The purity, the miracle, the goodness,
And the beautiful divine essence,
Are not lost, far from me,
But in my soul, behind the window.
The true nature of God
Is the love that has always guided me,
And in my relentless search,
It was He who found me.
