LETTERS TO DESTINY © 2012

One day, nations will live in a state of siege,

Caught in the web of their own mistakes,

Where peace will be but a distant memory

And fear will walk the streets in ruins and exiles.

The borders that once marked lands

Will be invisible beneath the chaos spread,

And what will remain will be the echo

Of a world that lost itself in the past.

But perhaps, in this inevitable collapse,

A new hope may also arise,

For sometimes, it is at the edge of darkness

That humanity finds change once more.

Nations, in a state of siege,

Will feel the weight of their choices,

But one day, perhaps, from the ruins will rise

The truth that embraces all.

And who knows, from this foretold end,

The seed of unity may be born,

Where nations, free from pride,

Will finally live as one nation.
