LETTERS TO DESTINY © 2012
The punishment that God has given you
Is to be eternally corrupt,
Trapped in the webs of your own ambition,
And, on your pedestal of pride,
You ignore the true weight of your condemnation.
Corruption, which you think is power,
Is, in fact, your greatest weakness,
For each act of greed and disdain
Moves you further from true greatness.
In the blindness of pride, you do not see
That the punishment is not a burden imposed,
But a choice made by your own hands,
Which traps you in a faceless cycle.
And while you ignore the profound meaning,
God watches in silence, patient,
For divine justice does not hurry,
But in the end, it always comes to light.
The true punishment is not in the end,
But in the empty life you cultivate,
For by living for your own ego,
You lose the soul you will never find again.
