LETTERS TO DESTINY © 2012

To my right sat Jesus Christ, and He said nothing,

But His presence spoke louder than words,

A silence filled with peace and light,

That enveloped my soul in gentle waves.

I felt His presence in an infinite gesture of love,

Without need for explanation or sound,

It was as if the very universe paused,

So my heart could welcome Him, serene and profound.

In that simple yet eternal gesture,

I understood the depth of His being,

A love that needs no words,

But has everything to say and offer, freeing.
