The need to believe

Is the reason for all existence,

It is what makes us walk in the dark,

Always moving forward, with resilience.

It is in faith that we find meaning,

Even when the world wavers around,

It is in believing that everything makes sense,

And the impossible becomes profound.

Without belief, life would be empty,

A boat adrift, without direction,

But to believe gives us joy

To dream and feel the heartbeat's connection.

Whether in God, love, or the future,

Believing is what keeps us upright,

For deep down, it is the safest beacon

That guides the soul and faith's light.
