LINES OF THOUGHT © 2013

Imagine, my friend, a love like this,

All stored within an orange,

Juicy and sweet, in an endless dance,

Where the heart bathes in tenderness.

Every drop you would squeeze from it,

Would be affection, pure and crystal clear,

And the amount you would drink

Would fill the world with divine love, my dear.

You would sip this nectar, with eyes closed,

Savouring the embrace of a sunny day,

A love without limits, never imposed,

Like a gentle breeze that caresses the lay.

And no matter how much you drank, it would never end,

For true love is a fountain without cease,

In an orange that life would tend,

With affection, with light, from the sweetest peace.
