LINES OF THOUGHT © 2013

Everything can be built with ease, brick upon brick,

But education, that is a work of solitary effort.

It cannot be rushed, nor measured in brief terms,

For it involves time, patience, and gentle roots.

A building can be erected in just a few days,

But education is slow, full of wisdom's ways.

It cannot be shaped solely by books or spoken words,

It is forged in experiences, in endless falls.

To educate is more than instructing; it’s to help one grow,

It’s teaching to question, to err, and to know.

And while everything around may quickly bloom,

Education requires care to truly make room.

It builds gradually, with gestures and living examples,

For it is the foundation of souls, of captive hearts.

Everything can be done and redone with speed,

But to educate, that takes a lifetime indeed.
