Everything makes more sense when it is deserved,
When the effort is just and the path is preserved.
Achievements shine brighter, hold more worth,
When we know they are born of sweat and mirth.
What is given without struggle, without dedication,
Becomes empty, losing its sensation.
But what is reached with truth and intention,
Nurtures the soul, fills the heart's dimension.
To deserve is not just to receive, but to recognise,
That each step taken is for learning and to rise.
And in that merit, there’s a profound sense,
Connecting us to a purpose, immense.
When merit is achieved, the meaning is clear,
For what comes with effort becomes more dear.
And in what is deserved, we find our peace,
Knowing that what is ours will never cease.
