LINES OF THOUGHT © 2013

Before God, you will never be able to legitimise your errors,

For divine truth sees beyond exile.

There is no human argument that can justify

What the heart refuses to accept.

Errors may be large or small,

But before Him, they are all earthly mirrors.

Each action, each failure, is clear to His eyes,

And there is no escaping, no matter how we try to contour.

But in God's justice, there is also mercy,

He sees the errors but offers us victory.

Not through excuses or justifications,

But in sincere repentance, in changes of actions.

Before God, the path is humility,

To recognise the error, to seek the truth.

For grace lies in accepting that we have erred,

And in His arms, we find the forgiveness we seek.
