LINES OF THOUGHT © 2013
The world only cares about you, if you threaten its stability,
While you go with the flow, you’re just another reality.
But if you stand up, if you challenge the current,
Suddenly, you’ll be seen, and the world will become aware.
As long as you don’t threaten, you’re invisible to the eye,
But just one doubt, one change, and you’ll be noticed.
The world prefers order, the comfort of the known,
And fears those who dare to question the established.
For when you challenge its fragile structure,
The world responds with fear, with force and bitterness.
But it’s in the cracks of that apparent balance,
That transformations are born, that truth is felt.
So don’t be surprised if the world rejects you,
When your firm step makes it waver.
For only then will you realise that, in truth,
The stability of the world is illusion, not reality.
