LINES OF THOUGHT © 2013
The fools, the wicked,
The liars, claim their rights,
And in this age of inequalities,
The world still applauds their deeds.
Empty voices rise, with well-calculated speeches,
While the truth, suffocated, walks the roads.
In the inversion of values, error becomes virtue,
And those who seek justice find only unrest.
The liars are exalted, with applause in hand,
While the humble suffer, invisible to the crowd.
We live in times of shadows, where the truth hides,
And those who follow deception are the ones the world answers.
But the illusion does not last, and time will reveal,
That the false shine of deeds will not endure.
For as much as the wicked celebrate their apparent victory,
The truth is eternal and prevails in history.
And when the lights go out, and the applause ceases,
It will be divine justice that judges and illuminates destinies.
