Lord, may I eternally love You while crying,

With tears that are prayers, with a heart that’s sighing.

May each tear that falls be of deep, pure love,

A sincere expression of my devotion from above.

To weep for You, Lord, is to feel Your grandeur,

To pour out emotion before Your purity, so pure.

May my weeping be sweet, a silent praise,

A testament of a faithful love that stays.

If it’s by Your love that I weep,

Let it be a cry of peace, healing and deep.

For in each tear, I find Your presence near,

And, even in sorrow, Your immense blessing is clear.

Lord, may I love You eternally in tears,

For it’s in total surrender that my love appears.

And in the tears I shed, I find redemption,

Loving You always, with all my intention.
