I would love to live where there is much wind,
So it could carry away my torment,
That each breath would disperse the pain,
And the air would take my cries in its gain.
I would love to live where there is much rain,
So I could disguise the murky tears' stain,
That each drop would fall upon my face,
Washing away the silence of sadness' embrace.
In the end, I would love to live closer to God,
Where the wind and the rain are signs from Him,
That in every storm or gentle breeze,
I would feel the embrace that my soul sees.
For it is in nature that the divine reveals,
And in the wind and rain, a simple promise appeals,
That even in tears and lamentation's flow,
There is always in God the sweetest glow.
