LINES OF THOUGHT © 2013

Lord, if I seek You incessantly,

It is because I yearn to live Your greatness completely.

Each step I take, every thought I pursue,

Is a constant quest to be closer to You.

Your greatness knows no bounds, it is vast and profound,

And it is in it that I find peace, strength, and sound.

I seek You because in You there is truth and light,

And in Your presence, all darkness takes flight.

I long to experience Your love, to feel Your might,

And to dive into Your grace, losing myself in the light.

If I search for You, Lord, it’s because I know,

In You lies the fullness my soul longs to grow.

I never tire of seeking You, of wanting more,

For Your greatness transforms and brings peace to my core.

And it is in this encounter that my life finds its way,

To live for You, Lord, is my greatest desire each day.
