LINES OF THOUGHT © 2015

I didn't have the courage to swim,

To dive into the deep love,

Even knowing you are my sea,

Where everything shines with splendor.

I stayed on the shore, gazing at the vastness,

Afraid of losing myself in your truth,

I feared drowning my heart

In the sweet waters of happiness.

For sometimes, love seems too vast,

So intense that it scares the fragile soul,

And we prefer to avoid its signs,

Fearing that joy is something volatile.

But one day, who knows, I will leap,

And discover that drowning in love is just a new beginning.
