LINES OF THOUGHT © 2015
If the world ended tomorrow,
The only thing I’d have to do
Would be to run, run without stopping,
Until I reached you, until I could see you.
I would run to tell you
That I always loved you, in silence and truth,
And that, even with time disappearing,
My love for you has never known youth.
I would ask for forgiveness for every word unspoken,
For every gesture I didn’t know how to show,
For it’s in the end that the desperate soul,
Wants all that it once let go.
If the world ended tomorrow,
You would be my last confession,
My love and my redemption.
